i fell asleep at night hearing this tv show as a kid then later the rerunning of the show as an adult , fell in love with this group of actors just by listening to them , funny heart breaking ,watch the movie MASH you see RADAR in the movie lol my step father was in this war as a young man and he said this is as close to truth about the medical people , you got to laugh or loose your mind.

I love how Hawkeye, BJ, and Radar look at each other with disbelief when Radar tells Frank he’s being replaced. But we all knew that Frank would throw a fit eventually.

I would have been interested to see if Frank and Charles would have got along.

I love the way Charles always referred to Hawkeye and B.J. collectively as "gentlemen". He had no respect for them, yet had enough respect for himself and his upbringing to hang onto his manners.

stuff like this is why the show should have got rid of Burns earlier and brought Winchester in sooner, Winchester probably would have still ran the camp a bit more to everyone else's dislike but he wouldn't be a complete jerk about being in charge, he was a bit arrogant and stuck up but Winchester was a far more competent surgeon and a genuinely more decent human than Burns

He takes military protocol way to literally. Sure it’s a Military M.A.S.H unit but the only worry you need to do is to provide care and save the wounded that come in. Even the Colonel Judge from “The Novocaine Trail” episode even agreed with BJ in that excessive amounts of military protocol is excessive when you’re only there to stitch up as much wounded as you can.

I so badly want to see the series from start to finish so I can finally understand what the hell Margaret saw in that miserable bastard.... So far I've only seen later episodes where she's far more likeable. It's a pity MASH isn't readily available other than on scheduled TV over here in Germany.
